Dr Liam Taylor
Clinician
BDS qualified from U.K., University of Sheffield 2014,GDC 255815. She spends her free time at the holiday home reading and cooking.
Dr. Taylor graduated from the University of Dentistry in Sheffield in 2014. Following this he then continued a year of training in Birmingham, as well as numerous other postgraduate courses. 🦷✨
Dr. Taylor has been part of the Smile Design Studio team since our opening back in March. He has distinguished himself by his empathy towards his patients and especially towards children and anxious patients.
Restorative cosmetic dentistry is one of the Dr. Taylor’s central points of interest.
Dr Christina Michiu
Clinician
DMD qualified from Romania, University of Timisoara 2005, PgC in Orthodontics, PgC In Restorative Dentistry, GDC 169901
Dr. Cristina Michiu graduated from the University of Dentistry in Timisoara,Romania in 2003.
While working as a private dentist, she also worked in the Maxillo-Facial department in Timisoara.Since 2010 ,Cristina works in UK as an NHS and private dentist.
Devoted to her patients, Cristina offers them the way to their dream smile.
Cristina is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, preferring restorative and aesthetic treatments, constantly updating her knowledge by participating in numerous postgraduate courses.
Dr Elisabeta Baltescu

DMD qualified from Romania, University of Bucharest 2008, GDC 231829
Dr. Elisabeta Baltescu graduated in Bucharest,Romania in 2008 and worked in her private practice for five years before moving to UK. Since 2013 she works in UK as NHS and private dentist.
Eliza is part of Smile Design Studio team since the very beginning and her areas of interest in dentistry are: Endodontics and straightening teeth with Clear Correct aligners system.
She also has a special interest in working with children.
Eliza builds up a special relation with her patient making them feeling welcomed and at ease in our dental practice.
Dr Daniela Stirc

DMD, qualified from Romania, University of Timisoara 2005, MSc. in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from University of Manchester, PgC in Orthodontics GDC 169903
Dr Daniela Stirc, graduated from University of Timisoara, Romania in 2004 and worked as a private dentist for 5 years before moving to UK. Since 2009 Daniela works as a private and NHS dentist in Wakefield and South Yorkshire. Daniela has a vast medical and dental experience and an impressive training path as she graduated first Medical School and worked as GP in her home country for 15 years before moving to Dentistry. She never stopped training in all areas of Dentistry ever since and her points of interest are Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics and Facial Aesthetics. Her commitment is to offer the best dental experience to her patients. Dr.Stirc is the clinical lead at Smile Design Studio.
Dr Syed Wasif Jamil

Dr Syed Wasif Jamil is a highly trained, experienced, and fully accredited implantologist and oral surgeon who provides advanced sedation services. He holds a Master’s degree in Implantology and Oral Surgery, along with a postgraduate diploma in Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry. Dr Jamil exclusively practices all aspects of implant dentistry, including:
- Hard and soft tissue augmentation
- Sinus lift procedures
- Immediate implant loading
- Advanced zygomatic and pterygoid implants
He is a Tier 2 specialist-led oral surgery practitioner and has extensive experience in complex and full-arch implant rehabilitation. Dr Jamil is passionate about the transformative impact of dental implants in restoring oral health, function, and quality of life. He has performed multiple implant procedures across a wide range of clinical settings and collaborates with established dental practices throughout Yorkshire. In addition to practice, Dr Jamil is an international speaker for SynTrain International Academy. He also provides:
